Over the summer it was great to see our red bicycle beauty, Velorbis Dannebrog, selected by Marie Claire US as one of its "top 11 eco-friendly summer must-haves" in its fashion editorial.  In the red themed feature by Amanda Hearst, Velorbis’ Dannebrog classic ladies bicycle was highlighted as a "chic green product" alongside other popular and influential brands. We’re excited to announce the launch of our new capsule collection of Velorbis luxury leather bags, comprising two initial designs: a classic ‘old school’ calfskin leather satchel in two colours, sand and dark brown, and an exclusive briefcase in antique brown buffalo leather. We see the Velorbis leather bag collection as a natural extension of our lifestyle design philosophy - impeccable aesthetic, detailing and finish matched with the utmost in contemporary functionality.

Our retro inspired designs are beautifully crafted from high quality leather. Features include contrast inner lining, top stitching details, detachable leather strap, and embossed Velorbis lion crest logo. We’re really pleased to announce that we’re bringing our special Velorbis brand of chic cycle style to the Romanian market by opening two exclusive new Velorbis showrooms – one in the capital city of Bucharest and another in the beautiful coastal city of Constanta, the country’s third largest city. We’ve also just launched a fully-translated website for our Romanian customers.

The trend for cycling in Bucharest and throughout other cities in Romania is growing, as more and more people are choosing to adopt a bike-friendly lifestyle; fashion forward citizens who view bicycles as an important part of their everyday urban travel, not just to be used for sport and leisure activities.

From Copenhagen to California...

We’re pleased to say that our US retailer expansion is continuing. Velorbis is now available in the beautiful ‘Golden State’ of California on the USA’s glamorous West Coast.

Flying Pigeon, LA; a speciality retailer of ‘The world’s most beautiful city bikes’ has now added a selection of our iconic Velorbis bicycle models such as Dannebrog and Student Balloon, to its current product offering.

The classic bicycle trend is in full swing in the US as a key lifestyle accessory/fashion statement/green transport choice.  We look forward to equipping the stylish residents of California – and fellow bicycle lovers in other states – with a little bit of Copenhagen cycling culture; and spreading the chic cycling message nationwide.

It’s a premier resource and how-to guide of the very best style, products, travel, food & drink etc. that celebrates the West coast’s healthy, luxurious, inspiring (and achievable) way of life.

On offer was a selection of beautifully delicious, gourmet treats – a yummy medley of food and Velorbis bicycles.

Sunset Magazine provided the refreshments; Velorbis provided the elegant wheels in the form of our ever-popular Dannebrog red ladies bicycle (like strawberries and cream), and Scrap Deluxe gents bike with signature balloon tyres.
